Y Fflam Tarot

Welcome to Y Fflam, “The Flame”.   The flame illuminates the darkness and shows us what is hidden, that which we might not otherwise see.  I believe the tarot can also help illuminate that which is hidden, and that which we try to hide from ourselves.  From tarot, we can gain insight into ourselves and our problems.  Tarot can also help us to “think outside the box”, to contemplate new ways of dealing with problems.  Lastly, the tarot can suggest ways in which we can better our lives and ourselves. 

I have been involved with the tarot since the 1970s. I prefer to use the Rider-Waite tarot deck, although I do also have the Ancient Egyptian tarot deck. I have found that, for me, the Rider-Waite deck is much more accurate and reliable, although I do sometimes use the Egyptian deck for clarification. You may, of course, choose either deck for your reading. I use both the Major and Minor Arcana, and I use the Celtic Cross layout for every reading. It is my opinion that a person who is paying for a tarot reading deserves a full reading, not a 1-card, 3-card, or 5-card reading. The Celtic Cross uses 10 cards, and although once is usually enough, sometimes it is necessary to do a second layout to clarify information gathered in the first. The tarot reading fee is all-inclusive, regardless of how many layouts are necessary.

I do tarot readings via email only. This preserves both your anonymity and mine, and allows for a much freer exchange between us. This also allows you to have your reading available to you to read whenever you wish, so that you don’t have to try to remember everything you’re told in a telephone, web chat, or in-person tarot reading. What is discussed will remain completely confidential, and I will NEVER send you unsolicited emails.
